Eric, you are right, there is a lot of hot air and ego's in many of the post. Some of the guys post 10 paragraph's before they finally get around to saying something. Some tell us about doing seven tanks a day and wearing out 3 buddys. Funny, I haven't read anything from the tech divers about how deep they have gone or what wrecks they have been on (I said something about pucker factor but that's about all).
You are also right, when you say, we are not solving diving issues. But, what we are doing is bring dive issues to the forefront.
Let me ask you a question: would you have thought about solo diving, DIR, OE Diving, or the hazards of diving on the Yukon, if wasn't brought up in these past post?
That is what is great about this media, you can reach out with ideas and touch a wide range of divers. And then let the divers make-up their own minds.
