I would never solo dive. For one thing I'm too young and too inexperienced (15 y/o, 18 logged). Secondly, my father wouldn't permit me. In regards to some of you latter points, diving with a bad and incompetent buddy is almost worse than diving solo seeing that you must look out for your buddy and yourself. Just my 2 cents.
