Jason, dive instructor's don't dive alone when they have classes,they have students and probably have a DM with them. I have been teaching for 26 years and don't feel I'm alone on class dives(maybe I have trained my students a little better then some have).
As far as DM's diving alone, that's their business(I just don't want entry level people diving alone).
Bett Gillian is not the one you want to Quote, he is one of the industries true scandalous(and that bring nice)and has almost no credibility.
As far as divers stroking their ego's,I just get tired of it sometimes. If that makes me an ass, then I'm an ass.
