I think the correct statement would be, "A Nitrox diver is SUPPOSED to . . ." Not all do. I saw this happen on a trip to PNG. When I asked why this diver wasn't doing his pre-dive analysis to check the mix, the answer was, "Oh, I've been watching them fill. They're on the ball. It's fine." Now to me, THAT'S scary.
