I'd go for the reg. At depth, any depth, my reg is life. if I need to float, I can dump my wieghts,and stay on the surface, but I cann't breath underwater w/a bad reg. I want to know how it is taken care of. course that goes for the BC too, I'm just more concerned about my reg. And do get a computer with it.
