I try to abide by just a few rules when I post on boards such as this:
- I never post anonymously;
- I don't intentionally give out mis-information; and
- I try to limit my posts to responses to direct questions; my own requests for information; personal opinions where I have first-hand knowledge; or to share information potentially interesting to others.
My post, the one you impugned, was in direct response to Ken's question. You can disagree with my opinions all you want, but don't ever question the integrity of my opinions by implying they originate in a need for public acknowledgment. Frankly, your opinion of me and my diving practices means less than nothing to me; I dive for my own enjoyment, not the admiration of others.
And BTW, if you believe John Walker's language is his most objectionable quality, that's just one more thing we disagree on.
