As I read the initial post where you stated "I
had more problems when a "buddy" was around, than
when I was diving "solo"", I interpeted that to
mean you had nothing but problems when you dove
with a buddy - regardless of who it was. As you
have posted since, it's clear that was not your
intended statement, but rather most other buddys
other than Tim and your first wife. That was
something I didn't gleen from the quote above.
I have to come clean here, Tim and I have sat
around way to much discussing topics just like this
one. He brings your name up quite often in the
discussions, usually as an example to his end
point. That's why it struck me as being rather
strange that you would have made such a statement,
as I interpeted it, concerning your experiences
diving with a buddy. Tim holds you and the
experiences you two shared in very high regard,
something I have no reason to doubt or try to
append.
And as far as you being a DM on a recent trip,
that was another Mike M with a similar sounding
last name. That was an honest mistake in identity,
which is why I was asking in asking you if you
were that person.
