Did you here the one about the diveboat on the way to Catalina that hit a reef and started to sink? On board were three openwater classes, a SSI class, a NAUI class and a PADI class.
The SSI instructor told his class the boat was sinking and told everyone to put their gear on, inflate their BCs, take a giant stride off the boat and swim to shore.
The NAUI instructor instructed her class to assemble their gear, deflate the BC, throw everything overboard, dive down, find the gear, put it on and swim to shore.
Then the PADI instructor addressed his class: "You guys, I have good news and I have bad news. The bad news is the boat is sinking. The good news is that for only $99 extra you can all get your wreck diving certification!"
