I worked at Marina Dive and Sport at 22nd St. Landing in San Pedro for eight years. The only items we marked up 100% were the small items behind the counter, such as snorkel keepers, clips, hose protectors...Big ticket items like BCs, wetsuits and masks/fins were marked up 30-40%. We did our best to keep our prices down, but three consecutive rainy Winters and the mass exodus of many dive boats to Long Beach and Huntington Beach due to poor management of the Landing left the shop owners no choice but to sell.
