Just a warning to anyone planning to dive out there for the next couple of weeks, it looks like they'll be chasing divers off of the rigs for a little while. I was on a Reef Seekers trip yesterday, when we found out the hard way. Evidently a dive group on the "Westerly", which had just been out to the Ellen before us, had a diver surface right under the rig's supply boat. By the time we got there, they had decided to ban divers for the next 2 weeks as punishment. Unfortunately no one knew this until we were all suited up and ready to dive in. We were unable to dive at any of the three rigs yesterday and ended up diving the Olympic wreck and Palos Verdes instead.
