I have found the O.C. Register to be terribly innacurate. Like yesterday they were saying waves were 5-6' at beaches north and south of the Laguna Area. I called the San Clemente lifegaurds, (492-1011) who update their report (no vis #) approx. 4-5 times a day and they said waves were 2-4' and the ocean surface was smooth.

I went free diving in Dana Point all day yesterday and found visibility to be 10-15' in the morning and 20' in the afternoon with waves of only 2-3'

It's sad no one has set up a live camera in LB that the dive shope doesn't have a recording as far as I know.

I have found that there is allways some diving or at least free diving to be had in Laguna most of the time excluding winter storm days.
