Here is the Daily News's latest account. It differs slightly as to the LA Times version but the tragedy is consistent. I don't understand f he was in the water alone with his brother tending the line, or separated from his brother underwater to explore a side passage.
I guess it really doesn't matter. This one really upsets me, maybe because of his qualifications and contributions. He rescues people!
