OK Jason, here's some buddy teams that failed the test.
20 years ago on the dive boat Charisma, we lost two buddy teams on one dive. They were diving on Farnsworth, and I think they were found in 130 ft. of water all grouped together with no air left in their tanks.
Was this a buddy team failure or were these newly certified divers passed their limitations?
5 years ago we had one diver die and another embolize, while diving on the Moody. Was this a buddy team failure or was one of these divers pass his limitations?
1 week ago we had a buddy that failed the test.
But was that a buddy team failure or was this diver passed her limitations?
Buddy team diving is not perfect, but for most divers it's the safe way to dive, it's that simple.
