There is a DM (Doug Marx) who still leads a weekly (Sunday) dive out of Laguna Beach sites. He used to work with Adventures in Diving (South Laguna) who closed shop a while ago and since then he kept up the tradition.
Doug is known for taking the time and accepting the effort and responsibility to take beginners by the hand and help them get valuable experience in SoCal beach diving--all for free.
