You state I accused you of making up 8 solo deaths. Wrong! What I did was expressing doubt whether you know what you are talking about

I know full well what I'm talking about, can you say the same???

The list of permanately retired divers in So. Cal since Jan 1...

1) The kid at the oil rigs who signalled his buddies he was having a problem at they let him ascend solo;

2) The guy at Laguana Beach in 20' who's buddy let him ascend solo;

3) The DM who after assisting a class went in to Casino Point solo and he body was found several days later;

4) The member of the KSDA who was hunting solo and was found 4 days later with a full game bag caught up in a lobster trap;

5) The guy a few weeks ago recovering an anchor solo and his wife and kid were on the deck watching his gear ascend without him;

6) Ron Fuller diving solo with a homemade rebreather died in 60';

7) The buddy team that got seperated and he got caught up in the power plant;

8) The body that was recovered at Malaga cove;

9) The other memeber of the KSDA that was swimming back to the Encore at the surface a few weeks a go

10) The Air Force search and Rescue team member found in 4' of water solo...

Those are the facts, they are dead and several of them would be alive today had they had someone with them when they needed it, some we will never know for sure and a few it would not have mattered..

So my question is, given that many of these deaths were from VERY, VERY experienced diver's who planned on being solo, and a few that were with a buddy who complacantely believed that they were * OK * to ascend solo, how can anyone still be arguing in favor of solo diving????

Save the verbal gymnastics for another thread and answer that question????

I have received several e-mails supporting me in my pursuit against your arguments,

I get atleast 10 e-mails a day from diver's supporting my various positions, so what's your point???

Later
