I you are talking about a flying vacation out of town I would highly recomend buying some hard sided luggage to hide your gear . A dive bag is an invitation to steal . Savage baggage handelers WILL damage your equiptment . If you are not a photographer hand carry your dive computer and reg , in a reg bag or better yet in a carry-on or back pack type bag with a change of clothes . If your gear does note make it to your destination with you , you have a change of clothes and your dive computer . If you are doing a live aboard or plan a lot of diving you may want to concider a back up computer in case your first one fails during your vacation . You dive with both from day one . I have a friend who dives with 3 computers . Boy that statement will garner a lot of replys I bet . Have fun
