This brings up an important point, and not having done a cave course, I ask you. Do NSS-CDS or GUE teach not breathing the gas in an air pocket? Having inhaled deisel fumes, I mention that in my wreck course but maybe I don't emphasise it enough. I once passed out in an hypoxic atmosphere, the only warning came way too late to do anything about it.
I think the sheriff might be a really lucky guy. If there had been room, would he have had the presence of mind not to spit the reg? hmmm...
