You may also want to consider the Dolphin Divers of Sacramento club which is quite active and welcomes new divers/members. The club is not affiliated with any dive shop but supports all of the local shops. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at the Roundtable Pizza located at Madison and Greenback.
