Yes,

I admit, I was out of line. I e-mailed to Jim yesterday and apologized the way things turned out on this BBS. I just moved to this country and had no idea which scuba shop here is private owned and which is not. I guess I would not have had this kind of responses if I had presented the same question on this forum for some salesperson from DDS. However, the idea of my message was to let Jim know that I am happy with my gear, not to make him service my regs for free by posting a competitors service. From Jim's customers responses I can see that a free overhaul on the first year after purchase is not a policy in Scuba Toys. I am moving back to Europe in ten months and before I go I will take my regs to Jim and be happy to pay for the service. Even tough this is a free and open forum and even tough I got angry about the nasty respond JR Gordon gave me (and posted him an unsuitable reply), I agree completely that I should have made a phone call to Jim instead of writing on the BBS.

Ville
