Chris has covered the bullet points, he's also
one of the best scallop harverters I know, so
heed the info well.
Two things to add;
When you clean the scallops, make sure you cut
the meat as a single piece. If you cut a single
scallop meat into two pieces, that's considered
to be two scallops towards your daily bag limit
by the F&G.
And finally, do not ever, ever, ever clean your
scallops on the boat's wood railing. The physical
and emotional scars last a long, long time (going
on 3+ years now).
