I agree with divewizaed . I owned a Dolphin brand 95 low pressure ( 2400 psi )tank . For the first 5 years they can be over filled +10% or to 2640 . Acutualy the Dolpin 95 held 97 cu/ ft at 2640 according to the manufactures literature . If I figure correctly At 2400 that would be 88 cu/ ft . I would be supprised if any dive boat would nowenly overfill a tank . Yes I have had my low pressure tank over filled by accident . I have since written the correct fill PSI at the base of the k-valve . I do not think it is a safe practice to encourage anyone to overfill . And about the CG issue . That was one thing I did not like about the 95 it did tend to flop from side to side . Maybe I need a better BC . I have sold the 95 and will soon buy a HP 100 . I do not think with my bad knees I could carry any more than that .
