Msblucow, I walk-in with my fins off most of the time. The problem I see at the beach all the time is divers stop right in the break of the wave and put their fins on. They don't go out far enough. The other problem I see, is that alot of divers don't seem to know what to do if they get knocked down in shallow water (1or2 ft.)they try to stand-up and get knocked down again and again (when all they had to do is crawl out).
There are a lot of right ways of doing exit and entrys, but somethings don't change, you need to wait for the lull, keep your reg. in your mouth, hold your mask, BC 1/3 full and move through the surf line as fast as you can.
