Most of my diving has been in Southern California, so I can't honestly compare Central Coast and No.Cal dives.
1. The Caissons off Pt. Fermin
40' walls covered by anemonies of all colors, scallops, lingcod and the occasional pelagics.

2. Farnsworth Bank
Same as #1 with Purple Hydrocoarl thrown in.

3. Ship Rock
Easy to moderate dive dependant on the current. Great deep diving with bus size boulders below 200' and beautiful, healthy kelp in the shallows.

4. Olympic Wreck
For some reason, I keep coming back to this site. There are more colorful wrecks with more life, but because this one is still in one piece, it gives me the impression of what a shipwreck is supposed to look like.

5. Santa Barbara Island
From the Sea Lion rookery the the Arch, SBI offers varied diving for all skill levels.

6. San Clemente Island-Frontside
Walls!!!
