If you've ever been to the aquarium during week days, you would see it surounded by big yellow busses. Kinda reminds you of Wagon Train during an Indian attack.
The worthiness of our cause stems from the hundreds of school kids that climb off those busses every day to see the pretty fishes. While looking at the fish, they are also being educated and given a sense of the wonder of the oceans.
The Aquarium is first and foremost, an educational institution. When you volunteer your time and expertise, you are helping to teach kids things they need to be better custodians of the planet. It's just that simple.
