Further testing revealed that breathing helium did NOT contribute to body heat loss as previously thought. But, as Eins stated, using helium in your drysuit will affect heat loss as it does not conduct heat. Cold water divers use argon, a heavier gas that retains heat. I dive dry using only my back gas which is most always helium based, and I'm never cold so......
