The 100' is if you make a real ggod effort to dig in the sand. The reality is that most of our dives this weekend, and frankly most dives in general, will not be done in the sand. I have been on the Yukon 3 times now and I only hit 100' because I was trying to see exactly how ddep she was. To do this we went to the stern of the boat and dropped into the sand. There was an entrance into the engine room, but we will NOT be doing that this weekend.
A 36% mix at 100' yeilds the following:
EAD = 75'
P02 = 1.45
MOD's
1.4 = 95.33'
1.5 = 104.50'
1.6 = 113.67'
The ideal Best mix formula is as follows:
1.4 = 35%
1.5 = 37%
1.6 = 40%
I doubt we will even break 90'. The best part of the dive is above 100' so I'm comfortable recommending 36%.
