...uhh, that's a very common occurrence. the
level of incompetence or, at the very least,
the number of 'mistakes' is quite high in
the media. you really have to watch what
they say--especially w/the smaller, and more
local papers.
it may not necessarily have been a sensationalistic
move on the reporter's part, it could sincerely
be a matter of ignorance, but that just goes
to show how careful one has to be when entrusting
our reporters w/accuracy.
