Sorry if it wasn't clear in the initial post but my beef is with the PADI heirachy, not the diver's, DM's or instructors per se.
In fact, I'm a PADI DM, I have just received my renewal notice over the weekend and I'm debating whether or not to re-new...
If the members continue to accept these backward steps than the leadership can't be blamed for failing to act..
