Why stop at at your renewal? Why not deny sales, service, buddy to any one who holds a C-card issued by PADI?
I can see it now. "Sorry Joe but I can't sell those regs & tanks you want unless your certified by any other agency other than PADI. See now I can get you into a NAUI class for only X amount of dollars and have you certified by next week!"
Or this one. "Yeah I'll buddy with ya. By the way who are certified through? PADI? Guess you'll be diving SOLO!"
