threads and you'll eventually come upon it.
In summary, there have been many accidents this year.
Most were diving alone, many were very experienced. This
should be remembered when you think you're good enough
to go alone.
Some of the accidents were buddy separations. This
should remind you that the buddy concept doesn't work
if either don't take it seriously. You need to be a team
and I don't think this happens frequently when strangers
pair up on a charter boat.
This recent death seems particularly bad as he may
have panicked and drowned in 6' of water.
