Why is it that most shops seem to only stock the inferior merchandise sold by Trident?
Trident spear gun bands are worthless. I bought three, because Dive 'n Surf choose to stock only the Trident bands instead of the JBL bands. 2 of the 3 wishbones broke within 2 dives. I took all three of the bands back, and demanded a refund. Yet, Dive n' Surf and other shops only stock this crap instead of the JBL bands.
I have been looking for Jet Fin straps. Every place I go only has the worthless Trident straps. These straps are too thin, and do not hold. The original Scuba Pro straps are about twice the thickness.
I finally found a shop that will ship me the genuine ScubaPro straps, since no dealer I can find has them, only the worthless Trident straps.
Is it any surprise people resort to ordering online when the local shops only stocks crap?
