"At the Monday, October 16th General Meeting, we will ask for nominations for candidates for the nine Board of Directors positions for the Greater Los Angeles Council of Divers (GLACD). Four members have already indicated that they will not be returning: Joe Gunther, Steve Herbert, Rose Reese, and Steve Sanford. This means that we will need at least four new members from the community to come forward and help with the operation and management of the Council.

We are looking for individuals that care about the diving environment and want to make a difference in protecting the rights and interests of the diving community. We need your participation and input to ensure that GLACD properly represents the diving community.

if anyone is interested in running for a position on the board, please contact eric asap. also, consider your time commitments: the general meeting times are once a month, and there are possible committee meeting times on top of that.
