Conditions vary by the days in winter, but it was
nice enough last weekend in terms of waves. The
viz, otoh, was terrible due to the strong deep surge.
Soloing will likely be fine, though I advise against
doing it on an empty beach without other divers around.
A boat will cost you $$, but has a much higher chance
of giving you good conditions.
