As the details have come out, the following
information has come to be proven;

-There was a death last Wednesday.
-The incident did not involve the Westerly.
-The death was not dive related.

These are the only questions I asked to either
be confirmed or dispelled.

The answers were supplied with the help of
the USCG Group Long Beach and others who were
directly involved in the event.

My apologies to Jim the owner/op of the
Westerly if he felt I was singling him or the
boat out, that was not my intent. The persons
that were asking me to find out what happened
obviously had partial bad information, which has
been corrcted. I find ufounded rumors apalling
and wished only to seek out the truth, especially
when it was supposed to have involved a respectable
dive charter of like Jims. I have absolutly no
adgenda against Jim or any other dive boat op in
the industry - if any one doubts that, they may
e-mail me privately to discuss that accusation.

Following my initial public inquiry, I did
have one Int'l news agency also asking me about
the event, to which I have referred them direct
to the USCG for future information on the incident.

My condolences to the family of the dead individual.
