Actually I'm not sure it clears it up.. Did you mention to him that Bruce Weinke put a post out on the Tech list ( and several other's ) that suggest's that there is a movement towards mandating??? Moreover, it is very possible that this person is unaware of it yet..
That aside an organization as large as NAUI all staff members may not have gotten brought up to speed yet because if I read Bruce's comments correctly, it appears we are ways away from this becoming reality but that it is being considered..
