no, you don't, and neither do a lot of other people,
but it takes fewer words to be concise and accurate: "his dive buddy
was his wife" than it took for you to write that
entire original post. you don't have to spend much
time to write concisely. you just choose not to.
also, it would've taken you less effort to write "his
wife was his dive buddy" in the original post than
it took for to make all these reply posts in the
same thread. it just takes less time and energy
to 'do it right' the first time instead of wasting
time w/all the backtalk later on.
