I don't understand why a penetration line would be of any concern to progressive penetration divers, knowing that the reel team would be retracting the line as they exit. Possible entanglement could be the excuse, but as I understand it there are one hell of a lot more dangerous things to get snarled up on than a 3/8 inch white line. And cutting a line leaves that line in the wreck so what do the cutters accomplish in the final analysis?
