geez, that truly disgusts me. how can that instructor look him/herself in the mirror?

BTW, one of these days, i would like to try DIR on a shallow coral reef, with my camera rig, and then i would like to try that same DIR setup in a real thick kelp forest, with a camera or spear gun or bug bag. I will then be absolutely convinced. One thing that concerns me is travelling with a DIR rig, and carrying all that lead on the plane. Many resorts have a fairly limited offering of tanks and weights. LAst Indonesia trip, i brought my own belt with all the keepers and used their lead. Anyone have any idea of how travel-friendly is the "standard" DIR setup?
