I have read most of Mikes post and I have found most of them thoughtful and intelligent. He has spelled some words wrong(we all have). And yes, he does have an agenda, but I think that his agenda is Diver Safety.
I think the problem that Mike and some of the other experienced divers on the list see, is the impression that some of you are giving to the newer divers, that impression is that it is OK to dive in a irresponsible manner (solo diving, independ diving, diving with no BC, Deep air, etc.etc. etc.).You gentleman can dive anyway you want (it's a free country), but to promote this type of diving to the newer divers is wrong.
Mike maybe a loud mouth New Yorker, but his heart and his agenda are in the right places.
Maybe some of you should rethink what your agenda is, and where your heart is.
