I'm about as big a warm water wuss as you'll find diving in the northern end of the state... I don't like cold hands! I even wear gloves in 85F water. I started using dry gloves out here and just did not like them. I had to keep raising my arms when diving shallow to get some air into the gloves. They're also fragile - I found that out when a glove tear gave me my first OW flooding experience. I switched to 5mm titanium lined gloves and have not even noticed the cold in temps down to 44F. I checked them out at home to see if I could still operate my gear and the verdict was that I could do better than I did with numb fingers.
