But i made Goddam fricking sure that i didn't go below the cross-members at 58 feet, stuck reeeeeaaaal close to the structure, surfaced on the north west side of the platform away from where the supply boat parks itself, and, the first time, to minimize gear stress, i left the camera on the boat (wish i didn't becuase on the safety stop, i had a chance to drift with a Mola mola for about 15 minutes) and surfaced about 100 feet from the boat and hopped right back in! My last 3 - 4 dives on the rigs have been with very capable buddies, and hopefully, that will remain the case. Soloing to 180' on air? nope! i'll pass!
