1. HONESTY; to take me seriously and not try to b.s. me; i.q. greater than me--in other words, i appreciate it if the employees actually knew more about diving and diving products than i myself did and that way i can rely on them as a source of reliable, unbiased info (i think it's sad when i know more than a dive shop employee...or is that a good thing?!)
2. competent and thorough technical service
3. close to home
4. don't waste my time by keeping me at the store longer than i need to be
5. competetive pricing and a reasonable exchange/return policy

oh, did i mention honesty??
