FaG officers are state police. Most state police are trained
well and so are very professional. Most are very courteous,
but don't think of messing with them. They embody real power.
On the other hand I have seen such stupidity from FaG officers
that I sometimes have to wonder. There was one female officer
in Santa Barbara that got a reputation for stupidity. I saw her
in action and it was well deserved. Sometimes they act like
security guard rent a cops.
They also have a strange view of divers. I have had one state
that he made the assumption that a beach diver is normally systematically
attempting to raid lobster traps. Actually, that is from difficult
to impossible. It shows that he had never tried to see how difficult
it is.
