The AOP uses one mfg'd by Ocean Technology Systems (OTS) who also make the buddy-phone and other wireless comms. The company is in So Cal, Orange County I think. A better quality system is available from Aquacomm in Massachusetts. An OTS hard-wire system MIGHT be available from Greg Swingle. He hasn't used it in years. You can reach Greg at his business, GT Automotive, (562) 799-1777, M-F. As for plans, any sound powered phone set will do, just substitute waterproof components for the stuff that will be wet. You could just seal the mike and earpiece in a condom.
