I hope you expand this into other areas, like regs. Hearing about people's personal experiences can be interesting, but these are often so situation specific and limited that it's tough to draw conclusions. Your experience working on equipment, however, offers the perspective of someone who's seen lots of different pieces of equipment inside and out. I'd certainly appreciate your views on the performance and durability of various regulators. This sort of thing goes on frequently on Quest and Techdiver, but analysis so often gets subsumed in polemics over there.
