About 8 years ago when Adventures In Diving was located in Laguna they taught an underwater hunting course that consisted of a single night lecture about spearfishing technique (using scuba) and a single open water dive where we practiced our aim by shooting car washing sponges suspended a few feet off the bottom. Adventures In Diving is in Oceanside now, they still may teach the class.
