But what if your Failure Points had failed? I mean I guess we have to accept the fact that current gear is so unreliable and failure prone that we should have that buddy glued to our side every second of the dive. And my God what if BOTH our failure points failed at the same time, and at night, to boot? Maybe we should all invest in triple redundant gear. DEMA would be overjoyed, as would the dive shops. And all for a few stinkin' bugs?
