Hi there Frank! Nice to finally meet you yesterday. It's always nice to put a face to a name. As far as renting a single-plate setup, I'm afraid there aren't any around as rental equipment (to the best of my knowledge). Although if you contact Michael Kane, he probably would be able to lend you a setup. I was able to try out one of his Halcyon's several times before I decided to buy one myself earlier this year. It's worth a shot.
