Mike, I have some questions on the logic of rembering dive tables and theory. Why would you limit yourself to only remembering the tables and not have a set of tables on hand throughout the dive? I understand the issues of computer diving, it has positives and negatives.. but I dont understand why you rely on memory only, seems to me that would be additional task loading and your margin for error is quit considerable as opposed to having the tables on hand for verification or just in case you plain forgot.. The jist of *if its not needed, dont take it* is a solid one but tables can do you no harm, you could even put them on your slate.

What do you do when your UAWATEC fails? Do they not also have batteries and circuit boards?

Im not picking a fight here, I want to know you do it this way.
