The only problem that I've encountered with my Cyklons was wet breathing when something large got under the diaphram in the second stage. That was less than a 5 minute repair. I'm definitely not ready to rebuild the whole unit though. I'm lucky to have a friend who has been working on them for years. As you mentioned the Poseidons do require special tools. Finding out the availability of repair work should probably be a prerequisite to getting one. In my case at least, maintanance on the Poseidon was a far cheaper option than it would have been for a Zeagle (Apex at that time).
